Remote National Parks

The goal of this category is offer for travelling to some remote national parks. These parks are not visited very often by tourist because of their difficult availability and poor tourist infrastructure in most of them.

In this category you cannot find any connecting items either from ecology or biology points of view. You can go through various ecosystems as well as landcape types, here. Remote national parks can be found in any geographical latitude or altitude.

The only criterion in this category should be  to posses some overview of remote national parks for all enthusiasts willing to undergo a more or less difficult journey. Remote parks mentioned here have always some difficulty to reach them (not administrative difficulty!). There is usally no or minimum infrastructure in such parks. Road access can be long and often only with four wheel drive cars. Sometimes even good physical condition is needed. Some parks could be accessible only by boat or by helicopter.

Such journeys will never be common matters. Certain resistance to difficult and primitive travelling is necessary, even when travelling inside the park can be quite easy. Such expeditions must be very carefully prepared - all necessary things must be carried with (drinking water, food, fuel, etc.). Even the price  of such expedition could be quite high.

Remote parks expeditions are often very attractive for all adventure lovers and explorers - usually only a little known regions are visited this way. Quite often very rare animals and plants species can be observed even new species can be described. No other tourist can be met during whole several weeks lasting expedition. Even this can be considered as advantage for people searching for loneliness far from civilisation.

Albatros Travel and Expeditions is one of very few travel agencies which can provide you trips directed to many remote national parks worldwide. These trips are usually difficult to very difficult. Only well trained  people and enthusiasts can take part in such journeys. There is a list of countries where remote national parks can be visited:
