Localization
Central Sulawesi in the middle of Tomini Bay (between the northern and eastern arms of Sulawesi), northeast from the city of Ampana.
Access
Easy. By boat 4 hours from Ampana (Central Sulawesi) or from Gorontalo city (North Sulawesi).
Characteristic
3620 km2; Largely marine national park. Six bigger islands formed by volcanic activity. All of these islands are hilly and some are mountainous, and they are surrounded by about 60 smaller limestone islands and big amount of islets. The highest point of the park is 542 m above the sea level. The archipellago lies on a plateau less than 200 m deep, except for Tampan island. Typical ecosystems: tropical rain forest, sea and sea coast, mangroves, coral reefs.

Swimming, diving, snorkelling.
Jungle trekking on Kadidiri and Malenge Islands, canoeing, sailing, fishing, climbing the summit of Una Una active volcano.
Note
Best time to visit X-VI.
Waters are under constant threat by destructive fishing techniques (especially use of dynamite and cyanide).
The islands are very beautiful and have great potential for future tourism development.
