Localization
Eastern Madagascar, 65 km northeast of Fianarantsoa and 139 km west of Mananjary.
Access
Easy, National Road 25 and National Road 45 cross the park.
Characteristic
416 km2; Mountainous area of granitic massive covered with dense forest. Its altitude ranges between 800 and 1,400 metres. This park protects transitional rainforest between typical eastern and southern ecosystems. The weather is largely warm and humid year-round. Average of annual presipitation is 2,300-4,000 mm. Typical ecosystems: tropical rain forest, cloud forest, freshwater ecosystems.
