Flora - 20 000 kinds of vascular plants - out of these 250 trees, over 800 bird species, 200 mammal species - 13 kinds of monkeys, 99 reptile species, 140 amphibian species, 210 fish species, 1 307 butterfly species, 650 beetle species and many other so far undescribed species.

Description

15 328 km2, the largest NP of Peru, protected by the UNESCO, watershed of the river Manú, all biotopes existing along the Amazone river and the Andas foothills, lowland rain forest, lakes, marshes, flooded areas, misty forest, mountain forests, altitude - between 150 and 4 200 m, extraordinary biodiversity, unique in the world.
