Western coast of Chiloé Island.
Access
Easy. By air from Santiago de Chile or by ferry from Puerto Montt.
Characteristic
431 km2; Park is divided into two main sectors. The greater portion of the Park is in the foothills of Chilean Coastal Range, known as the Cordillera del Piuchén up to 850 m height, a small portion lies in an islet of Metalqui. Many rivers and lakes. Typical ecosystems: Valdivian temperate rain forests, freshwater ecosystems, sea and sea coast, wetlands, peat bogs and sand dunes.
