Localization

Northeast Vietnam, immediately northeast of Halong Bay, approx. 200 km east of Hanoi.

Access

Easy - by car or by bus from Hanoi to Bay Tu Long Bay and boat cruise, there.,

Characteristic

158 km²; Sea bay with more than 40 larger limestone islands and hundreds of islets, rocks and cliffs. The biggest of them is Ba Mun island. Several karst caves with bog population of bats. Typical ecosystems: dry forests, karst ecosystems, sea and sea coast.
